On Friday 10th July we said farewell to the 2025/2026 cohort of primary and secondary trainee teachers as they celebrated the successful completion of their SCITT journey and recommendation for Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Throughout the year, trainees have demonstrated exceptional commitment, resilience and professionalism, embracing every opportunity to develop their skills and make a positive impact on the pupils they have taught.
Reflecting on their final term as a trainee teacher, one trainee said, “Term 3 has been an incredibly positive and rewarding experience. I have continued to grow in confidence, strengthen my classroom practice and develop my own identity as a teacher. Through embracing new challenges, reflecting on feedback and celebrating the progress of my pupils, I have finished my training year feeling proud of how far I have come and excited for the next chapter of my career.”
We are incredibly proud of all they have accomplished and look forward to seeing them begin the next chapter of their teaching careers as Early Career Teachers (ECTs) in September.
