On 3rd July BBSCITT said farewell to its 2026 cohort of interns. The internship has provided 36 undergraduate and master’s students with insights into the world of teaching and education for three weeks. Benefitting from expert mentoring, high-quality and supportive school placements and time to reflect on their experiences, the interns saw and captured the essence of working in education across their internship. They saw teachers build effective relationships, adapt their teaching to meet the needs of their students and deliver content in an engaging, accessible way. They even got the chance to turn their hands to some solo teaching.
We are thrilled that some of the interns have already applied to ITT courses for September, and we look forward to continuing to support the interns on the next steps in their careers. Everyone at BBSCITT would like to congratulate the interns on a successful three-week placement and wish them the very best of luck for the next steps in their journey.
